If the internet cuts, does the restaurant stop?
No. The till keeps selling and the kitchen keeps printing, and everything uploads when the internet is back. The call centre, the screens and the genie need the internet.
Will the system stop theft?
No system stops someone set on stealing. Sobek closes the easy ways: every void and discount has a name on it, the drawer is counted before the expected amount shows, and stock is tracked by recipe.
Can I follow my restaurant when I’m out?
Yes. Sales, shifts and the drawer are live on your phone, and for any other number, ask the genie on WhatsApp.
What does the genie do?
It answers only you, with your restaurant’s numbers, and can switch off a dish, change a price or close a shift after you approve. It never voids orders or touches permissions.
Does it work with Vodafone Cash and cards?
Yes. Every payment method is counted on its own, and Vodafone Cash transfers are confirmed automatically from the transfer SMS.
Can customers order online in my restaurant’s name?
Yes. An ordering page in your name, card payment through Paymob, pick-up from the branch.
Do I need new hardware?
Usually not. It runs on the PC, tablet and phone you have, and on thermal receipt printers.
Is my data safe?
Each restaurant has its own database, every employee has a PIN and permissions, and the system opens only on your devices.
